Screening Test Preparation
- Screening Assessors: Psychologist, GTO, Interviewing Officer – all present at Stage I.
- OIR evaluates base mental aptitude; determines further assessment eligibility.
- Key Screening Focus: Officer-like qualities (OLQ) and mental aptitude.
1. OIR (Officer Intelligence Rating) Test Preparation
- Understand format: Practice all verbal/non-verbal reasoning types using sample and prior year papers.
- Revise core maths, English, reasoning fundamentals.
- Take timed mock tests to build speed and accuracy.
- Master time management for exam conditions.
2. PP&DT (Picture Perception & Discussion Test) Preparation
- Sharpen observation of characters, actions, setting, and story mood in images.
- Practice positive, logical storytelling demonstrating leadership and problem-solving.
- Develop strong narrative structure: introduction, challenge, resolution.
- Engage in group discussions to build communication and articulation skills.
3. General Preparation Advice
- Stay updated on current affairs (helps in GD and Interview).
- Work on physical fitness and mental well-being.
- Get regular feedback from mentors and peers; adjust strategies as needed.
- Be calm, honest, and authentic at every stage; practice is key to success.
